December Food Holidays Make Memorable Holiday Celebrations

Celebrate December Food Holidays

While the official “holidays” might not take place until December 25 – let’s face it. Once December 1 hits we want to get our party on!

And we’re always looking for ways to top last year’s fun. That’s why this year we’re making things extra special by adding December’s Food Holidays to our festivities.

Whether it’s a weekday party with coworkers or a weekend party with family and friends, there are fun foods to be celebrating all month long.

December 7 – Cotton Candy Day

Cotton Candy

Though seen as a summer treat, the fluffy snow-like texture of County Fair Original Cotton Candy fits right in with the holidays.

A light blue color creates the feelings of a winter wonderland.

The holidays are all about the bling. So bring some shine and nostalgic wonder with Espeez Light Blue Cotton Candy Rock Candy Sticks.

December 8 – Brownie Day

Brownie

If your party falls on December 8, then keep it classic with the party favorite – brownies!

Finger foods are great for mingling. So we suggest Nassau Candy’s Milk Chocolate Brownie Batter. Bite-size pieces of brownie batter drenched in rich milk chocolate fit nicely in a snack bowl or holiday candy dish.

Give them something to raise their glasses to with Cookie Dough Bites Brownie Batter Soda. This specialty soda with a cool effervescence and a sweet chocolate fudge brownie flavor is sure to lighten the mood.

December 12 – Cocoa Day

Cocoa

Cooler temps call for a customary hot beverage. Guests will absolutely love a hot cocoa bar with Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Hot Chocolate and fun fixings.

For a touch of elegance, think of adding Dalmatia Fig Cocoa Spread to your cheese or charcuterie boards. The addition of cocoa to this classic gourmet fig spread adds depth and dimension.

December 13 – String Popcorn Day

Popcorn

A party activity is always a great ice breaker. Let’s add a little nostalgia to the mix with the old-time tradition of stringing popcorn to deck the halls.

While the popcorn will be used for decorating, you do want it to be tasty too! For a better-for-you twist on a classic, serve up Lesser Evil Himalayan Gold Popcorn.

If you want to skip the stringing and jump right to the snacking, there’s Candy Pop M&M’S Popcorn. M&M’S Minis mixed with fluffy popcorn is a treat that’s flavorful AND adds a touch of festive color to your snack spread.

December 16 – Chocolate Covered Anything Day

Chocolate Covered Anything

The holidays are all about indulgence. And nothing’s more indulgent than dousing your favorite snacks in chocolate.

Seasonal flavors are always a crowd pleaser. So add excite-MINT to your celebration with Nassau Candy Dark Chocolate Caramel Pretzels with Crushed Peppermint.

Think of chocolate as a sweet gift wrap and offer your guests a double candy surprise with Nassau Candy Milk Chocolate Giant Grizzly Bears. Jumbo gummy bears coated in premium milk chocolate will be in-PAW-sible to resist.

December 17 – Maple Syrup Day

Maple Syrup

Reportedly a must-have condiment of Elves (according to the film Elf), maple syrup with its deep, sweet taste is a great wintertime flavor.

It adds the perfect touch to holiday brunch when part of granola like Bear Naked Maple Pecan Granola.

When celebrating later in the day, there’s Asher’s Maple Nut Fudge. Creamy maple flavored fudge blended with walnuts is a flavorful and fun twist on this nostalgic goodie.

December 18 – I Love Honey Day

Honey

A party isn’t a party without a little something sweet. Like everyone’s favorite natural sweetener – honey!

With winter being hot beverage season, Clover Honey Spoons add a little unexpected flair.

The holidays are all about nostalgia so it’s a great time to serve up a long-time retro candy favorite Bit-O-Honey.

December 19 – Hard Candy Day

Hard Candy

We can’t pinpoint the exact origin, but hard candies have become synonymous with the holidays. They also are great for celebrations for the shine and touch of color they bring.

One longtime classic that brings the festivities wherever it goes is Baby Ribbon Candy.

Another stunning hard candy confection that’s a must for your December celebrations is Cut Rock Hard Candy.

December 22 – Date Nut Bread Day

Date Nut Bread

It wouldn’t be the holidays without baked goods filled with dried fruit and nuts.

While date and nut bread might not be that party-friendly, a spread of dried fruit and nuts ARE!

Dates are extra special when they’re rolled in coconut and adorned with an almond like Coconut Almond Date Rolls.
