Our expertly-crafted confection creations are already known to bring a sunny disposition to customers. Now, thanks to a new initiative at Nassau Candy, in addition to the sunny dispositions we generate, we’ll also be generating sustainable power from the sun. Nassau Candy is going solar. As a family-owned business, it’s important to Nassau Candy to reduce our carbon footprint and lessen our impact on the environment, helping to preserve the planet for future generations. We faced some challenges to make this goal a reality. One of our biggest hurdles came about while assessing the amount of energy required for some of our manufacturing processes.
