We can all agree that gum is sticking around – literally and figuratively. The gum category grew 16.7%, totaling $3.1 billion in sales as of May 21, 2023 (Candy Industry). It’s easy to see why.
Gum, while offering sweet flavors, feels like a better-for-you option. Pieces of gum are generally small in size and typically not a huge number of calories. And can be enjoyed while on the go and easily shared with friends.
