Comfort food isn’t enough. We want it to be homemade!  Homemade is a top food craving across all age groups according to market research firm Datassential, (Progressive Grocer).

While we want homemade, we don’t want to spend the time making it. Good thing there’s lots of brands out there serving up prepared foods that bring the homemade feel.

Here’s some brands to check out if you’re hot on homemade.

Bonne Maman

Nothing stirs up feelings of grandma in the kitchen quite like fruit spreads. A brand that brings that “homemade with love” feel to every spoonful – Bonne Maman fruit spreads.

From South France, Bonne Maman spreads, jellies, and preserves are made with only the finest fruit using homemade-inspired recipes.

Bonne Maman has classic preserve flavors like Strawberry and Raspberry. Looking for something a little more exotic? Then there’s Blackberry Jelly and Apricot Fruit Spread.

The brand has gotten even cozier with the addition of a line of Bonne Maman Herbal teas. With blends featuring premium ingredients, Bonne Maman’s Herbal teas go hand and hand with their spreads.

One of our favorites teas — Sweet Delight. Its blend of apple, cinnamon, and elderflower just gives you warm and cozy feelings.

Carbone

Another food that’s synonymous with homemade comfort is pasta dinners. With Carbone Sauces, you get the simmering for hours flavor in minutes.

Inspired by the renown New York City restaurant, all Carbone sauces are made in small batches.

The secret ingredient to Carbone’s homemade feel — premium Italian-grown tomatoes.

There’s classic Marinara with a touch of oregano, basil and garlic. For those with food sensitives, try Marinara Delicato. It features all the bold marinara flavors minus the garlic and onions.

For a classic with a bold twist, there’s Spicy Vodka Sauce, with a touch of heat from Calabrian Chili. Carbone even has a pizza sauce in Original and Spicy for when you want homemade but want to keep it casual.

St. Michel

No one can resist baked goods fresh from the oven — especially when they’re French baked goods! That’s why St. Michel has been a favorite since 1905.

The French baked good brand keeps that French love of food alive by using top-of-the-line ingredients like cage-free eggs and French wheat.

You’ll feel like you’re sitting outside a French bakery every time you bite into St. Michel’s buttery, crispy flagship cookie, Galettes with Chocolate.

Another French homemade favorite St. Michelle is known for are Madeleines. Using a recipe that dates back to 1755 the light and airy cakes are just the bite of comfort you need.

Galettes and madeleines are just two of the large variety of baked goods with French Flare St. Michel offers. There’s the French version of buttery shortbread, Butter Palets.

For a crispy, pastry-based cookie reminiscent of a croissant, there’s Caramel Palmiers. To add homemade feel to your next ice cream sundae or yogurt, try light, fluffy St. Michael’s Ladyfingers.

Bachan’s

Our love of homemade doesn’t mean we don’t want something unique and exciting. Bachan’s line of Japanese Barbeque Sauces combines trending exotic Asian flavors with our craving for homemade.

With a name that means “Granny” in Japanese, you know Bachan’s is going to deliver on homemade comforting flavors.

The teriyaki-ish sauce is made using a family recipe that has been perfected over generations.

Beyond the classic umami filled Original Japanese Barbeque Sauce, there are other Bachan varieties to try. For a bright touch of Asian citrus fruit, Yuzu, try their Yuzu Japanese Barbeque Sauce.

If you’re seeking something a little bolder, don’t worry. Bachan’s has a Hot & Spicy Japanese Barbeque Sauce with the added kick of jalapeno peppers.

The comforts of home without having to be cooking at home all day. The latest food trend is homemade. Manufacturers are hearing the call, serving up prepared foods using premium ingredients to bring the homemade feel home.
