Styling and Photography By Laurie Mosco

The “green month” = a green light to party! March has food holidays practically every day – not to mention St. Patrick’s Day!

Have a lion share of a good time by incorporating these March’s Food holidays into your celebration schedule.

March 1 – Peanut Butter Lovers Day

Raise a cup for the beloved nut spread that we love in our chocolate cups, on sandwiches, or enjoyed by the spoonful.

What makes Peanut Butter Lovers Day so easy to incorporate into your routine is it can be celebrated morning, noon and night.

You can start the day off with a Think! Creamy Peanut Butter Protein Bar.  Then for lunch enjoy a sandwich made with smooth and crunchy Peanut Butter & Co Crunch Time crunchy peanut butter. For after dinner dessert, you can move to the chocolatey peanut combination of Nassau Candy Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Cookie Dough, or if you’re feeling nostalgic, there’s Nashville’s Peanut Butter Goo Goo Clusters .

March 6 – Oreo® Day

If you’re looking for a walk down memory lane, then Oreo Day is a great celebration path for you to take.  Not only are these crumb-elievable sandwich cookies great on their own, but they’re often a part of some of our other favorite confections.

If it’s the chocolate in the chocolate cookie that gets you going, then celebrate with Nassau Candy Milk Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Mini Sandwich Cookies. Feeling fancy, then try Switzerland’s Milka Oreo Bar, featuring Oreo Cookie bits and cream filling sandwiched between two layers of Milka’s amazing milk chocolate.

Even those looking for better-for-you snacks can still get in on the Oreo day celebration thanks to Cookie Pop Oreo Cookie Popcorn.  Light, crisp popcorn blended with real Oreo Cookies creates the perfect sweet and salty bite that’s great for binge watching or an afternoon snack.

March 8 – Peanut Cluster Day

If you didn’t get your fill of peanut goodness on Peanut Butter Lovers day don’t fret.  March has Peanut Cluster Day too!

With the day all about enjoying poppable clusters of peanuts covered in chocolate like Nassau Candy Milk Chocolate Peanut Clusters, you can celebrate at the office or at home, or while on the go!

March 9 – Popcorn Lovers Day

Time to profess your love to your favorite “pop” star snack – popcorn!

While you can’t go wrong with classic salted popcorn like Angie’s Boom Chick A Pop Sea Salt, and there’s nothing “butter” thank Skinny Pop Butter, there are many other ways have a poppin’ Popcorn Lovers Day.

Like enjoying the sweeter side of popcorn with Jelly Belly Buttered Popcorn Jelly Beans (one of their most popular flavors) or Harry & David Classic Caramel Moose Munch. For something truly unforgettable, try Taffy Town Buttered Popcorn Salt Water Taffy.

March 12 – Milky Way® Day

The combination of chocolate, caramel, and nougat gets you all starry-eyed?  Then you want to mark Milky Way Day on your calendar.

Nothing beats a classic Milky Way Candy Bar, but if you’re feeling adventurous, try celebrating with a Milky Way Midnight Dark, featuring dark chocolate and vanilla nougat, or a Milky Way Cookie Dough with cookie dough nougat, or for the ultimate chocolate indulgence, Milky Way Fudge with fudge nougat.

March 14 – Pi Day

Starting out life as a math holiday, recognizing the number Pi (3.1415), Pi day has really taken off as a day to celebrate anything that comes in the form of a pie or pie flavored.  Think pizza pie, apple pie, pumpkin pie, etc.

A full pie can be a little MUCH, particularly if you’re celebrating solo. But not to worry.  There are TONS of pie-flavored sweets, snacks, and beverages to enjoy.

If you’re feeling a slice, then it’s time to munch on crispy Combos Pepperoni Pizza, or chewy efrutti Gummy Pizza.

When only a piece of grandma’s baking will do, there’s Melba’s Fixins Apple Pie Soda and Banana Moon Pie.

March 14 – Potato Chip Day

Chip chip hooray for two ways to celebrate March 14!  Here we pay homage to our salty snacking favorite, the potato chip.

Chips lend themselves to so many flavor combinations — barbeque, salt & vinegar, sour cream & onion. But let’s be fancy and celebrate with a pint of Burt’s Guinness Potato Chips.  The beloved British chip maker, Burts teams up with Guinness Beer and adds hops and barley to their thick cut potato chips for a tangy beer-inspired experience.

March 24 – Chocolate Covered Raisins Day

Raisin your spirits at the end of March with the blend of chocolate and sweet, plump raisins.

You can go classic with Nassau Candy Belgian Dark Chocolate Raisins, or for something a little different, add some nuts like in Milka Raisins & Nuts Chocolate Bar.

March 26 – Nougat Day

By this time in March, everything is getting lighter – even the food celebrations!  Time to celebrate light, airy, and fluffy nougat.

For the nougat purists, there’s nostalgic, Big Hunk Almond Candy Bar.  Honey-sweetened nougat and whole roasted almonds offers a long-lasting chewiness and bold, nutty crunch that gets the party started.

Want a little chocolate with your nougat? You can’t go wrong with the iconic 3 Musketeers® Bar.  Add a little old fashioned vanilla flavor with a Charleston Chew Mini.

Time to Spring into action and make the last winter month a little more fun with March Food holidays. It can be as simple as enjoying that food during your lunchbreak to a full fledged party with all the fixings. That’s the fun part – you choose the best way to celebrate!

The party’s just getting started!
