In today’s snacking climate you truly can have it all. Rich luxury AND sticking to that resolution.

The secret – bite sized indulgences.

Bite-size snacks delivering BIG on flavor and indulgence are, in fact, one of the top food trends right now (Food Business News).

There are many ways to get in on the bite size indulgent snack game.

Luxurious Ingredients & Flavors

Taste and premium ingredients are key to keeping that big indulgent feeling when the snacks’ bite size.

That’s why many brands in the snack category are bringing comforting food flavors to smaller, poppable pieces.

Nassau Candy has harnessed the iconic flavors of a donut into an a-GLAzing treat they’re calling Donut Hole Bites. From the pink speckled shell that looks like a frosted donut, to the sweet center, the bite sized snacks are a (donut) hole in one!

If it’s cake batter gets you all whipped up into a frenzy, Nassau Candy has Milk Chocolate Cake Batter Bites too! Rich milk chocolate enveloping a bite-size cake batter flavored center really takes the cake.

Sustainability is just as important a snack trend as indulgent flavors (Food Business News). Good thing Theo Milk Chocolate Snickerdoodle Cookie Bites bring all the flavors of the classic cookie with a recipe made with organic, Free Trade ingredients.

For an extra intoxicating bite, add a dash of international flare. Like a longtime international brand getting in on the bite-sized fun.

Travel down under with a bite size version of Australia’s longtime brand, Violet Crumble. Their bite size pieces of toffee honeycomb coated in rich milk chocolate offer a satisfying taste and crunch.

OR travel across the pond with Britain’s Nestle AERO Melts.  They bring the extra creaminess of the classic, larger Aero Bar to mini pieces. The secret behind the chocolate’s velvety texture – little air bubbles in the chocolate that pop with every bite. Flavors like Caramel and Orange just add to the decadent experience.

Chocolate isn’t the ONLY way to bite-size indulge. There are a lot of cookie brands also making miniature options.

Like Italy’s Loacker Quadratini bite size wafer cookies. Originating from a little bakery in the Italian Alps, Quadratini offers four layers of the crispest cookies and rich cream. With a range of flavors like Double Choc, Peanut Butter, and Macha Green Tea, there are many ways to satisfy that mini craving.

If it’s the cookie’s cream filling that you find extra indulgent, then you’ll love Dolcetto and it’s Wafer Bites. Each pillowy wafer cookie is filled with a rich cream. Flavors like Cookies and Cream and Lemon keep snacking interesting.  Snack size bags make it easy to indulge on the go.

Even sour candy fans can get in on the bite sized fun! When you want a little texture excitement, there’s Nerds Gummy Clusters.  The popular crunchy, sweet, and tangy Nerds candy surrounds fruit flavored gummies for a bite full of flavor and texture.

When you really want a blast of sour flavor, there’s Sour Punch Bites. Sour Punch Bites are a bite size version of the ever-popular Sour Punch Straws. Coated in lip puckering sour sugar, each little bite packs a super sour punch.

Balancing Indulgent and
Better-For-You

While we DO want to be indulgent, there are some of us TRYING to keep those resolutions. To do that, opt for better-for-you bite sized snacks.

Like those that pair real fruit and dark chocolate like Amaze Bites. With flavors like mango, pineapple, and pineapple passion fruit, it’s like going on a tropical vacation in every bite.

To get a dose of nostalgia AND fruit, there’s Chum Fruit Bites. Chum Fruit Bites offer all the chewy goodness of the fruit snack you remember from childhood made with 100% fruit, no added sugar.

You feel extra good that the Chum Fruit Bites donates 15% of their profits to support endangered animals.

Since we ARE wanting to eat better, brands that use simple ingredients AND that cater to the latest lifestyle trends like plant-based, Paleo, low sugar, AND gluten free are welcome.

One brand bringing the indulgent flavors ALL while keeping within the Plant-based, Paleo lifestyle is Blissfully Better and its line of Bonbons.   Plant-based, Paleo, gluten free, and made with simple ingredients, Blissfully Better’s Bonbons with a rich chocolate shell and creamy center of coconut, peanut butter, or sea salt caramel tick all the snacking boxes.

Another plant-based snack that’s serving up great flavors in a better-for-you package are B’Cuz Granola Bites. Featuring a blend of oats, seeds, and flavorful mix-ins like white chocolate, pecans, maple syrup, fruit, and nuts, B’Cuz offers a satisfying crunch while helping you to power through that afternoon slump.

There’s also brands like SmartSweets creating low sugar versions of our candy shop favorites. Sweetened with Stevia, Monkfruit, and Allulose. Smartsweets’ gummies and hard candies pack 3g of sugar and under per serving, fitting perfectly within those resolution goals.

For gluten free, turn to The Gluten Free Bar (GFB) and their line of GFB bites. A chewy center wrapped in a crunchy mix of seeds, nuts and other flavorful ingredients like peanuts and coconut, GFB Bites is a satisfying snack that only feels indulgent.

Better-for-you ingredients paired with indulgent flavors is another way to feel good about your snacking.

Like Drizzilicious’ quinoa crisps. Each quinoa crisp offers a satisfying crunch while being drizzled in indulgent ingredients like chocolate and marshmallow in their Smore’s Bite, or white chocolatey for their Birthday Cake Bite.

Nowadays we’re in BIG for Bite sized indulgences. We want them packed with indulgent flavors, luxurious textures, and a balance of unique and comforting flavors. Snack brands have heard the call and are serving up a slew of snacks that offer minimum size and maximum indulgence.
