Shake it up with fun cocktail and mocktail mixers and cocktail-inspired confections.

Cocktails are the special something that makes brunch a celebration! Exceptional cocktail mix-ins that are flavorful enough to serve as mocktails too are sure to shake up their cocktail routine.

Craft cocktails get extra crafty when they’re made with craft sodas. And if their busting with brunch flavors – well that’s fabulous. They won’t be-leaf their eyes when they see Lester’s Fixins Maple Syrup or Bacon Maple Soda as part of their brunch spread. They pair great with bourbon or whiskey. Tempt their sweeter side with the flavors of morning pastries, like creamy,  cinnamon Lester’s Fixins Horchata Soda (great with rum) or berry tangy Melba’s Fixins Blackberry Pie Soda (great with vodka).

Mimosas are a brunch classic. The beloved champagne cocktail really pops when it’s paired with elevated organic juice blends like orange, apple, and carrot in Smart Juice Organic Gold Plus Juice, and apple, orange, pear, lemon, peach, and mango in Smart Juice Organic Tropical Juice.  They’ll also be dill-lighted with bloody Mary mix (another brunch classic) with a pickle twist like McClure’s Bloody Mary Mixer.  It’s made with the company’s pickle brine, dill, and garlic for an intense pickle kick.

But cocktails don’t have to be only enjoyed in a glass. Cocktail-flavored confections will have them shouting “cheers,” too! Give them bottomless cocktail feelings with gourmet Swiss milk chocolate bars filled with liqueur syrup of their favorite alcohol brands Cointreau, Jack Daniels, Remy Martin, Captain Morgan, Jack Daniels Honey, and Amarula.  For those looking for a little more poppable version to lift their spirits, there’s Koppers Sparkling Prosecco, Moscow Mule, and Barrel-Aged Bourbon cordials.

While brunch might be synonymous with indulgence, better-for-you beverage offerings will be a welcome sight, too.  Sparkling beverages full of flavor like Petal Sparkling Elderberry with Tea Flower, Lychee Rose, and Peach Marigold Basil will be the shining star of their brunch beverage bar. Breakfast is all about the flavors of childhood, too.  So give their classic breakfast beverages, milk and chocolate milk, a plant-based spin with NotMilk Whole and NotMilk Chocolate Plant Based Milk Alternative.  NotMilk’s unique plant-based blend feels, cooks, and tastes like real milk and sure to make their brunch – legen-DAIRY.

Layer It On

Brunch ideas, brunch buffet, Naked Granola, yogurt almonds, Birch Benders Pancake Mix, Bob's Red Mill Steel Cut Oats, Fruity Pebbles Candy Bar, Cocoa Pebbles Milk Chocolate Bar
Make parfaits, steel cut oats, and pancakes over the top with fun and unique toppings.

When it comes to brunch, customers LOVE layers. Like layers of yogurt parfaits, stacks of pancakes, and mounds of toppings on their oatmeal. When a yogurt parfait is made with Naked Granola, customers can travel the country with their taste buds, experiencing signature blends like the blueberry and almonds of Maine, the apricots, dates, and raisins of California, and the pineapple, mango, coconut, and cashews of Maui in every layer.

But don’t think that granola and dried fruit are only reserved for parfaits.  A blend of Nassau Candy Original Granola and Yogurt Covered Almonds add the perfect creamy crunch to Bob’s Red Mill Quick Cooking Steel Cut Oats, or pancakes made with Birch Benders Classic Pancake Mix.

Brunch is a celebration, so it is ok to make some of those layers extra indulgent.  If they have a touch of nostalgia, even better. After all, 37% of Americans are eating more breakfast because they want to eat something fun that brings them joy (Bake Magazine). What could be more fun than their favorite childhood cereals, Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles, speckled into creamy confection and milk chocolate like Fruity Pebbles Candy Bar or Cocoa Pebbles Milk Chocolate Bar?  They’re great sprinkled over parfaits, oatmeal, pancakes, or just enjoyed on their own.

Incorporate Global Flavors

Brunch, Breakfast Foods, international breakfast foods, Farin' Up Belgian Waffle Mix, Lund's Swedish Pancake Mix, Marmite,
Travel through your taste buds with international flavors.

82% of Millennials bought specialty food items in 2021 (Institute of Food Technologists).  Their reason for purchasing — for special occasions and to impress guests.  Help Millennials make their brunches memorable by recommending they inject international flavors. Toast is ho hum, but when topped with the uniquely salty flavors of Britain’s Marmite Yeast Extract Spread, their brunch will be the toast of the town.

Pancakes are one of the most popular breakfast items (Bake Magazine).  No question customers will flip for super thin pancakes made with Lund’s Swedish Pancake Mix.

The waffle food category saw a 2.1% sales increase over the past year, according to Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery.  Which is why authentic Belgian waffles with real pearl sugar made with mix from Farin’ Up will heat up their griddles.

There’s no denying that they love brunch a bunch. Give their brunches some extra sizzle by recommending EGG-straordinary signature beverages, toppings and mixes.
